True Connections: A Foundational Spiritual System for the Time of Reappearance
A structured weekly program rooted in Quranic recitation, Ziyarat, and daily devotion — created with the intention of drawing closer to the Living Imam (aj) and supporting the cause of Zuhoor.
🌿 True Connections: The Foundational System
A life-altering framework for building a real, living connection with the Holy Prophet’s household (as), aimed at hastening the reappearance of the Living Imam (may Allah hasten his zuhur).
By Nasreen T. Syed (Bint Dr. Syed Mohammad Tahir Naqvi)
Please offer a Surah Fatiha for my father and for all the marhumeen.
This is not a collection of random acts. It is a system — a divinely guided sequence that unfolded for me over fifteen years (at original compilation but since then it has grown, this is a foundational version but the advanced version will be posted in a series Insha Allah), beginning with the recitation of Ziarat e Ashura on the day my father returned to his Creator (7th of May 2005, may Allah have mercy on his soul). What started as a yearning to send something of value to his soul gradually turned into a full weekly routine guided by signs, spiritual impressions, and a deepening understanding of the words of the Ahlul Bayt (as).
What I present here is only the foundation — the first two levels of a life program. From this system, deeper dimensions will naturally unfold as one remains committed and consistent. These further stages will be introduced in time, as hearts are ready.
I am not here to convince anyone. Those who are true to the zuhur will try. The rest will find excuses. This is for the sincere. If you have doubts or disagreements, I invite you to take it up with the Imam (ajtfs) — for I am only a servant trying to fulfill the responsibility placed upon my heart.

The practices shared here form the foundational layer — not because others are any less important, but because these were the ones revealed through guidance. Similarly, while praying for Palestine is an essential moral and spiritual duty, it was not included as part of the foundational program’s framework. That said, nothing surpasses the sincerity of intention, and this entire journey was guided by a heartfelt plea — the desire to bring back my father and hasten the reappearance of His Eminence (ajtf).
Regarding the Holy Quran
Imam Jafar As-Sadiq (as) was asked how many ayats one should recite daily. He replied:
"Holy Quran is the advice of Allah to His creatures. So Muslims should look at the advice of Allah and read fifty verses from that, during each single day."
Further guidance:
"Try to your best to read the Qur’an correctly in Arabic pronunciation in the same way that Arabs read it."
"If there is a house in which a man recites Qur’an, the angels look at his house the way people of the earth look at a brilliant planet in the sky."
"The house at which reciting Qur’an is common, its elevated people are increased and blessings come to it."
"One who reads a letter from the Book of Allah while standing during his prayer, Allah will grant him a hundred goods, remove a hundred faults, and elevate him a hundred levels. And one who reads the entire Holy Quran — Allah will fulfill his request, sooner or later."
"What prevents a businessman from reading a chapter of the Qur’an after going back to his house before he sleeps? There will be ten rewards written for every verse, as well as the removal of ten faults and sins."
The narrator asked: “Read it entirely?”
He (Imam Ja’far As-Sadiq) replied: “Yes, entirely.”
