The Transformative Power of Writing and Reciting Divine Names
Healing the Body, Soul, and Mind through Arabic and Native Tongue
At the heart of this practice is a deep, transformative healing of your body, mind, and soul. When you write and recite the names of the Imams (as) in Arabic and your native tongue, you're not only learning but also actively healing yourself. This practice involves much more than memorization—it’s about integrating divine attributes into your genetics, heart, and soul.
Step 1: Start with the 99 Names of Allah (SWT)
Begin with learning the 99 Names of Allah (SWT). By writing these divine names, you are engaging both physically and mentally. The act of writing connects the hand, nervous system, and brain, helping you deeply internalize the divine attributes associated with each name. Through Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), you attune your heart and mind to these powerful qualities.
The System:
-
Write each name once in Arabic and your native tongue, with a focus on its meaning.
-
Write the name three times each and recite 33 time beginning wih he first name to the last in 15 min segments (after each obligatory or voluntary (mustahab prayer is a good time), absorbing its meaning and vibrational energy.
-
Use Abjad numerology to understand the deeper connections of these names.
-
Repeat the writing in 15-minute segments, progressing to writing each name 5, 7, 9, or 15 times, depending on your ability and time.
