Discovering the Qur'an and Nahjul Balagha as Comprehensive Guides to Life and Knowledge

The power of Nahjul Balagha is such a miracle. We turn to fallible teachers to teach us writing, reading, science, and so on, but Allah has placed every creative answer in the Qur'an and every lesson of expression, medicine, philosophy, astronomy, physics, and geography (and perhaps more we have yet to uncover) in the Ahle Bayt's (As) original sources and words.

We do not need any other teachers BUT those who point to the signs, make connections, and explain what those connections may refer to. Even the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was tasked with helping the community—us—learn how to learn. His mission was to show us the path, not to replace our need for reflection, study, and understanding.

If we have faith in the original books—the Qur'an and, as an extension, the sermons and letters of Nahjul Balagha—we will find every minuscule teaching within their pages. Every aspect of life and science, whether it be the intricacies of human behavior, the laws of the cosmos, or the art of expression, is addressed and illuminated by these divine sources.

May Allah guide us to His light and help us recognize the unmatched wisdom in His revelation. The path is there; we must only tread it with faith, humility, and the desire to seek His truth.
